SmartFit Nutrition came to be because of two people’s vision for an elevated experience in the pre-prepared meal industry.  Those two people are Orlando Dominguez and Holly Godinez, RD, LD, the owners.  That vision was to become a multi-faceted store that included technological advances to body analysis, non-invasive body sculpting, sound nutrition advice, and high-quality food designed by Holly (the all-new 35 items) and prepared by a certified chef.  

Together Orlando and Holly bring to you over 35 years of experience in the meal prep and nutrition service industries.  Orlando’s experience as the owner of bbCuisine and Holly’s vast experience working in hospitals, as a Jenny Craig owner, along with her degree in Dietetics, are what back up our promise to provide a holistic approach to your wellness journey.  

For Orlando, having a meal preparation business is very personal.  His journey to health began in the streets of McAllen, a city marked by the challenge of obesity, where he was once a part of the statistic he now strives to change.  After losing over 160 pounds and overcoming the hurdles of diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol, he realized his mission went beyond his own transformation.  His mission became about sharing the path to wellness with you, our community, who face these challenges daily. 

For Holly, providing knowledge of one’s health and nutritional needs is her passion.  As a Registered Dietitian for 28 years, she thrives on dispelling myths regarding weight reduction and weight gain, fad dieting and misinformation that dominates the industry.  Along with providing information that people will benefit from for life, Holly has been in the business world for 30 years.  She has a master’s degree in business along with her Dietetics degree from NY and has been fortunate enough to be able to bring her degrees together to reach the large audience here in the RGV.  She has dedicated her life to the advancement of her clients and their families’ lives.  She brings to the business a 3D body composition analyzer that aids her in developing goals for each client.  She will calculate precise macronutrient and caloric needs based on your individual goals.  All bodies are not created equally, and here at SmartFit, we will provide customized services for your unique needs.
